Chenac is a beautiful village standing within vineyards and sunflower fields and enjoying views over the right bank of the river Gironde. It is situated by the green road, a scenic road displaying Charentes and wine heritage (cognac, pineau, vins de pays) to the Bordeaux vineyards (Pomerol, Saint Emilion) in front of the left bank and the famous road of the châteaux and grand crus of Medoc.

Chenac Saint Seurin d’Uzet, South of Royan, at the mouth of the largest estuary in Europe, is situated at the cross-road of La Rochelle, Saintes and Bordeaux, towns of Art, History and Gastronomy in France.

From the gîtes of le clos de Chenac, you’ll have the opportunity to take the numerous mountain bike paths, Saint-James’ way, Royan country foot-paths. You’ll discover the little fishing harbours, the square nets, the cliffs and beaches by the River Gironde from Saint Georges de Didonne and Meschers to Mortagne through Talmont.
